A comfortable everyday garment
Baggy trousers are designed with a relaxed silhouette and freedom of movement. The fabric should support that shape without feeling unnecessarily stiff or heavy for the season and intended wearer.
Cotton sweatshirt fabrics and other cotton knits may be considered, but the right choice depends on composition, construction, weight and finishing. The fabric name alone does not confirm its feel or performance.
Check the details that affect fit
Review stretch and recovery, surface, drape, seams and how the fabric behaves after washing. If the trousers include cuffs or a waistband, check that the selected rib or elastic detail works with the body fabric.
For children's garments, follow the applicable product-safety requirements and confirm any claims with suitable documentation. This article does not certify a fabric or finished garment for children's use.
Make a sample before production
A test garment helps assess movement, fit and the interaction between body fabric, trims and stitching. Agree the care routine and review the sample after washing before approving a larger quantity.
When requesting a fabric, provide the garment type, target weight and composition, colour, order estimate and any print or finishing needs.
